Ramesh Nimmatoori. a young man who completed his post graduate degree in computer science engineering, rather looking for a career in industry or business thought of setting up an educational society. It was in 1989 that Aurora Educational society made a humble beginning by establishing a Degree College with four Departments, namely Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics and Electronics apart from one or two language teachers with 62 students registering in the first batch. The college was set up in a rented accommodation at Habsiguda, a suburban locality and later got shifted to Gandhinagar, a very busy middle class area. It was in 1992 December that the college shifted into another rented premises in small streets of Chikkadpally (next to Bagh Lingampally) in the midst of Hyderabad.
