Admission Rules

The admission is based on merit which is calculated according to the aggregate marks secured by the student in the qualifying examination. No additional marks would be added for the students coming from CBSE and ICSE, they would be treated on par with any other student. College follows the rules of Government of Andhra Pradesh in the form of reservations for SC / ST / BC / Sports / Ex Servicemen / NCC.

Documents for Admission

Candidates should submit their application forms along with one set of xerox copies of the following certificates:

  • Transfer Certificate (where the candidate studied last).
  • Date of birth certificate and SSC memorandum of marks.
  • Migration certificate by students coming from Universities other than Osmania University.
  • Bonafide certificate.
  • Income certificate of the parent/guardian.
  • Opportunity spotting and optimal planning
  • Nativity certificate from MRO.
  • Caste/Community certificate from an officer, not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO).

A provisional list of candidates selected for admission will be displayed on the college notice board and also intimation will be sent to the email ids given in the application form. Telephonic information would also be given if the parents register for that service at the admissions counter.

Admission Procedure

Selected candidates should appear for a personal interview with the Principal at the college with all the original certificates given in the admission notice sent to the student, before the last date for payment of fees. The entire fees that is informed to the students is to be paid in the form of DD in favour of Aurora's Degree College, payable at Chikkadapally, Hyderabad.

Important Information

The fees paid by the candidate shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor adjusted for future admissions whether the student attends classes or not.

Optional subjects, and the second language once selected by the candidate cannot be changed after the closing date of admission as declared by the Osmania University.

Other Rules and Procedures

Information pertaining to general rules of admission, rules of promotion, rules of attendance and disciplinary will be intimated to the student in the student handbook.

Note: The college reserves the right to cancel the admission of a candidate at any stage if it is detected that the admission is against the rules and regulations of the University.

All the students who seek admission at Aurora are requested to read the brochure and send their feedback to brochure@adc.edu.in. If the students and parents feel that their choice to join Aurora is right they can fill the application given along with the brochure and submit it within the stipulated time either in person or through online and send it to admissions@adc.edu.in.
