Department of EEE

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Aurora’s Engineering College was set up in the year 1998 and has made remarkable progress over the years. The department got accredited in the year 2009. The department is offering B.Tech. course in EEE and M.Tech. programs in Power Electronics and Power Systems Emphasis with HVE. The faculty are well qualified as per the norms of AICTE and JNTU. All the faculty are postgraduates and some of them pursuing Ph.D. The faculty of the department are actively involving in publishing research papers in national and international journals by the way of guiding B.Tech & M.Tech Projects. The faculty of the department regularly attends workshops and seminars to upgrade their knowledge. The department has well established laboratories (10) housed in a three storied building exclusively for laboratories. Apart from its regular teaching and training program as per university norms, the department also organizes seminars on advanced topics, guest lectures by eminent people from leading institutions and industries, workshops, symposiums and student technical completions on a regular basis.

• The Society of Electrical Engineers (SEE) is a society for the students in electrical engineering program to support every Electrical Engineering activity in both academics and social aspects. The department is organizing technical events under IEEE student chapter also.
• Students are also fare very well at competitive exams like GATE, GRE, CAT etc. and many others got admitted in prominent academic institutions in India and abroad. It is worthy to mention that many of our graduates are occupying responsible positions in MNCs likeInfosys, TCS, Mahindra Satyam, Wipro, Hyundai, Infotech, Genpact, HCL, Anu Solar Systems, Eider Motors etc.

• The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) endeavors in imparting quality education and training to the students in deferent areas of electrical and electronics engineering. This is one of the oldest departments of Aurora’s Engineering College and over the years it has continually upgraded itself in terms of academic programs, laboratory facilities and research infrastructures. The Department attracts best of the students for its Bachelors and Masters. The faculty members in the departments are experts in their respective fields and take extreme care to shape the young talents. Apart from training they receive in the Department, the students also get exposures at the national and international levels through internship, exchange programs and participation in conferences and competitive events. Over the years, our graduates and post graduates have found employment in leading national and international organizations and many of our students have made us proud through the achievements in their professional career.
