Retired as General Manager from BHEL Corporate R&D, Hyderabad in October 2011, and joined Aurora’s Technological Institute at Gagillapur, Dundigal, Hyderabad, on February 6,2012, as Professor & HOD of Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
Worked in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited for more than 31 years in areas of power plant automation, project management, and quality certification systems and material inspection audit. Have extensive industry experience in programmable control systems, power plant dynamics and automation, electronics systems and services for power plants.
Prior to BHEL, worked in Indian Space Research Organization Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Trivandrum for more than six year in instrumentation systems of aerodynamics laboratory. Also worked for quality assurance of electronics sub-systems for launch vehicles. Have several technical publications in national and international journals and conferences.
Have several copyrights on power plant and wind farm automation and management systems.
Senior Member, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA, and life member.
