A Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE, obtained on or before June 2014. Those completing their final examinations by May/June 2014 can also apply.
Qualities being evaluated through the selection process include:
Candidates who have appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs in 2013 or those who have written XAT conducted by XLRI or MAT conducted by AIMA in the 2014 may download the application and send the duly filled in applications by 30th May 2014.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process that will be held at at ABS campus. The process would consist of two stages
Stage 1: Group Discussion (GD)
Shortlisted applicants would be invited to participate in the a Group Discussion. Based on their performance in GD, a composite score will be computed. On completion of Stage 1, all candidates getting a composite score of 65 and above will be short listed for the Second Stage of Selection.
Stage 2: Case Analysis, Extempore Speech & Personal Interview
The candidates shortlisted from Stage 1 need to analyze a case and write down their views. This tests the analytical and written communication skills of the candidate. After the Case Analysis, the candidate will appear for a Faculty Panel Interview. The panelists would interview the candidates to examine his/her suitability for the course. The candidate's oral communication skills, subject knowledge and general awareness will be tested during the interview.
